Travel by Train

Maastricht has excellent train connections both national and international. Every 30 minutes there is an intercity train connection with Eindhoven, Utrecht and Amsterdam. Frequently there are connections to Liège (Belgium), Brussels (Belgium) and Aachen (Germany) where you can change to international trains – Thalys, TGV, Eurostar – to London, Paris and other European cities.

Maastricht has three railway stations: North, Central and Randwyck.
From Central Station Maastricht, you can walk into the city centre. After leaving the central hall of the station, you have to walk straight ahead, crossing over a bridge and then you arrive in the centre of Maastricht. Many hotels are located within walking distance of this station. Station Randwyck is at just 250 meters from the congress centre MECC Maastricht. Also the Maastricht University Medical Center (MUMC+), Maastricht University, NH Hotel and Apart Hotel Randwyck are within walking distance of the “Randwyck” railway station.
